Privacy notice

We collect what we need to reconcile your accounts and to answer your application. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with other customers, and we do not publish anything that identifies your business without asking you in writing first. You can ask us to delete everything.

When you apply: your business name, what you distribute, your number of routes or field reps, your city, your name, your phone number, your email address and your current bank. We use these to decide whether we can onboard you and to contact you about it.

When you use Moja: transaction and statement data from the bank and mobile money accounts you connect, and the sales records you give us to match against. This can include counterparty names and account references that appear on your statements.

When you visit this site: standard server request logs. This page sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

To provide the reconciliation you asked for, to support you when something does not match, to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and to keep the service secure.

Your data is not shared with other Moja customers. We use a small number of service providers — hosting, databases, email delivery and the account connectivity providers that deliver your statements — and they may only process your data on our instructions.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train models for anyone else.

We publish an aggregate total of the value reconciled through Moja across all customers. That figure is not broken down by customer and does not identify any business. We name customers on this site only where they have given us written permission.

For as long as you are a customer, and afterwards only for as long as we are required to keep records. Applications from businesses we do not onboard are deleted once the decision has been communicated and any follow-up has closed.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the service. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to disconnect an account, or ask us to delete everything. Write to us and we will action it.
