Terms of service
Last updated September 2026
Who we are
Moja is operated by x-bridge, a company registered in Tanzania. These terms govern your use of Moja. If you use Moja on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that business.
What Moja does
Moja connects the bank and mobile money accounts you authorise, brings the transactions on those accounts together, and matches them against the sales your business records. It is a reconciliation and reporting tool.
Moja does not hold your money, move your money, or initiate payments. It reads transaction data so it can be compared with your sales records.
Access is by application
Moja is not open to self-signup. We onboard a small number of businesses at a time so each one can be set up properly. Submitting an application does not create an account or oblige us to provide the service, and we may decline an application without giving a reason.
Your accounts and your data
You are responsible for having the authority to connect the accounts you connect, and for keeping your login credentials secure. Your business data remains yours. How we handle it is set out in our privacy notice.
Accuracy
Moja reports on the data it receives from your connected accounts and your sales records. Where that source data is incomplete, delayed or incorrect, the reconciliation will reflect that. Moja is not a substitute for your own financial controls, your accountant, or your statutory records.
Acceptable use
Do not use Moja to break the law, to access accounts you are not authorised to access, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe this is happening.
Fees
Fees are agreed with you in writing before your account is set up and depend on the number of routes and accounts you connect. There is no charge during onboarding. We will give you notice before any change to your fees.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Moja available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from decisions you take based on the reports Moja produces.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using Moja and ask us to disconnect your accounts at any time. We may end or suspend access if these terms are breached, or on reasonable notice. On termination you can ask us to delete your data, and we will.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the courts of Tanzania have jurisdiction over any dispute.
